A luxury apartment developer has acquired a building and site occupied by a soon-to-close Sears store, at Gwinnett Place Mall, in Duluth, Ga., reports the Atlanta Journal-Constitution.
North Carolina–based Northwood Ravin bought the roughly 12-acre site, the newspaper said. Sears announced last month that the on-site store would be one of 48 Sears and 15 Kmart stores to be closed nationwide.
