ICSC announced the winners of the 2019 North America Design & Development Awards competition, which each year recognizes excellence, innovation and creativity in the U.S. and Canada retail real estate industry.
The competition invited submissions from shopping center owners, developers, management companies, architects, designers, retailers and other professionals responsible for the design of any new or redeveloped retail project or store demonstrating exceptional creativity and originality.
The competition is divided into three categories: Renovations and Expansions; New Developments; and Retail Store Design. A panel of industry professionals served as judges.
