In a retail market with low vacancies coupled with a cautious lending environment, Build to Suit (BTS) is an exceptional opportunity for investors, developers and businesses that will occupy the space to find the much-needed win-win. Through this workshop, we will understand the needs of the developer, investor and business, examine some of the best practices for development and examine the long-term operations of the property. We will also explore true ground-up BTS and look at potential issues with a redevelopment site and the idea of a “Conversion-to-Suit”.
