When the marketplaces industry gathers at the Las Vegas Convention Center May 22 to 24 for ICSC 2022 Las Vegas, they’ll find that the industry’s premier event has evolved to suit the times. The name is only one of many new things about the event, formerly known as RECon.
While booth locations will be based on the 2020 RECon floor plan (South, Central and North Halls), aisle names will change from streets to standard aisle numbers. As a result, each company will be assigned a new booth number.
Booth fees will be $15.50 per square foot, and full payment must be made within two weeks of application submittal. The ICSC 2022 Las Vegas booth package includes eight-foot-high white walls if needed, gray booth carpet and first-night booth cleaning.
Exhibitors are permitted to use their own booths, but a prefabricated booth option will be available. Interested exhibitors will work directly with ICSC’s vendor, GES. Booth applications will be emailed to previous exhibitors on Jan. 24 from service@mapyourshow.com, and after returning exhibitors confirm booth locations and sizes, first‑time exhibitors can register starting Feb. 10. Exhibitors with questions can email Keith Colavito at kcolavito@icsc.com.
Registration for ICSC 2022 Las Vegas is open, and hotel registration will open in February. Because ICSC is committed to bringing its event attendees together safely and with the proper health precautions in place, the organization will follow guidelines and recommendations on public events and gatherings from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and state and local governments.
Due to the contagious nature of COVID-19 and the fact that it is transmitted primarily by person-to-person contact, ICSC has put several preventative measures in place to help reduce its spread. However, ICSC cannot guarantee that event attendees, exhibitors, vendors or other participants will not become infected with COVID-19. By voluntarily attending an ICSC event, you accept and assume the risk of possible exposure or contraction of the same.
All live ICSC events will require proof of full vaccination for COVID-19 per CDC guidelines, meaning it’s been two weeks since the second dose in a two-week series like Pfizer or Moderna or two weeks since a single-dose vaccine like Johnson & Johnson. Before the event starts, registrants will receive instructions on how to submit proof of vaccination or test results prior to attendance. A negative COVID-19 test 48 hours prior to this event will not be accepted, and on-site registration will not be an option for ICSC 2022 Las Vegas.
