The U.S. entrepreneurial landscape is booming, as a record 5.5 million businesses launched in 2023. It’s important for aspiring entrepreneurs to know the best and worst states for start a business. Based on studies by SimplifyLLC and WalletHub, this GoBankingRates article highlights the top and bottom states, based on factors like business growth rates, job creation and consumer spending. Texas, Florida and Wyoming come away as top contenders, while Louisiana, California and Mississippi present significant challenges.
