This Israel-based gelato-and-yogurt chain is set to open its first U.S. store, on New York City’s Upper East Side. Patch

Bose
High-end audio equipment brand Bose says it will close 119 stores across North America, Europe, Japan and Australia. Roughly 130 will remain open in China, India, South Korea and the United Arab Emirates. Boston Globe

Havertys
This furniture chain is moving into two former Toys R Us stores: in a 31,000-square-foot space at Seaboard Commons, in Myrtle Beach, S.C.; and a 33,800-square-foot site at Southlake (Texas) Corners. Furniture Today

Johnny Was
California-based women's fashion and lifestyle brand Johnny Was will roll out a store at Bethesda (Md.) Row, in March. The 2,000-square-foot store, the chain's first in that state, will take over a former Lilly Pulitzer space. Patch

Peloton
Fitness equipment retailer Peloton says its 80-store portfolio could double in size as the company seeks top-tier mall sites. Yahoo Finance

Target
Holiday sales at Target grew by 1.4 percent year over year — a mere fourth of the 5.7 percent the company posted from 2017 to 2018, and also lower than the company’s own forecast of 3 to 4 percent. Target pointed to a decline in demand for electronics and toys and a decrease in online traffic. Reuters

Tiffany & Co.
Tiffany opened a four-level temporary store around the corner from its iconic New York City flagship to serve customers while the latter undergoes a two-year transformation. Hypebae

Trollbeads
Danish jewelry brand Trollbeads, known for glass-beaded bracelets, will open its third store, at Destiny USA, in Syracuse, N.Y. Syracuse.com

Walmart
The mega-retailer opened a cashierless Neighborhood Market store in the Miami neighborhood of Coral Way. All lanes will be self-checkout, and customers also can check out with associates who have handheld devices throughout the store. The location also will offer grocery pickup and same-day delivery. Wawa
The Wawa, Pa.–based convenience chain is opening a new concept, in Philadelphia's Center City, featuring a walk-up window and measuring only 3,000 square feet — a mere fraction of the typical Wawa store’s 11,500 square feet. The Philadelphia Inquirer
