Edgy sock brand Stance is the latest e-tailer to open a physical store on the Las Vegas Strip. Stance opened its eighth U.S. store, a 1,600-square-foot unit at the Fashion Show mall, and used its e-commerce data to help select the store site, according to Paul Zaengle, the company's executive vice president of retail. “Nowadays you have to be a data-driven product,” Zaengle told the Las Vegas Review-Journal.
Among the other e-commerce operators with physical stores on the Strip are Rent the Runway and Untuckit. "The Strip has proven itself a place for brands to test product success with people from all over the world," said Brian Sorrentino, a Las Vegas–based director at ROI Commercial Real Estate. “At the end of the day, to be successful online, you have to have a store."
