A global software-update failure on Friday caused widespread disruptions for businesses of all sizes, highlighting the dependency on technology. Major corporations like Microsoft and CrowdStrike provided swift support to their clients, but smaller businesses faced significant challenges. Owners like Chris Delmond of Handcraft Hospitality was unable to access his cloud-based accounting software, and Chris Seabrook of Asguard Locksmiths had to improvise with borrowed equipment.
