The U.S. Small Business Administration has allocated $300,000 in funding for three organizations to deliver the Women Veteran Entrepreneurship Training Program, aiming to support women veterans in starting or growing businesses. Syracuse University’s Veteran Women Igniting the Spirit of Entrepreneurship, or V-WISE; Onaben’s Beyond the Boots; and the Utah Veteran Business Resource Center’s Startup Training Resources to Inspire Veteran Entrepreneurship, or STRIVE, tailor training and resources to empower women veterans with the skills and guidance needed to build resilient businesses.
