Hines, owner of Russia’s Outlet Village Belaya Dacha, southeast of Moscow, says the center enjoyed growth in 2019, including the openings of 18 new stores.
Among them: Cavalli Class, DKNY, Hunkemöller and Küchenland Home. Meanwhile, a food hall featuring Asian and Georgian cuisines has opened there too.
Nearly 4 million people visited the center last year, a 13 percent increase over the year before. Hines says Outlet Village Belaya Dacha’s sales increased by 10 percent. The growth in sales and visitors was “a result of a consolidated, loyal customer base, but also of our perseverance of attracting new visitors from the Moscow region, as well as domestic and international tourists,” according to Antoni Gascon, Hines Russia director of retail and operations. “In 2020 we are forecasting a double-digit growth for Outlet Village Belaya Dacha, as we have a very ambitious leasing strategy, with amazing new openings such as the first Polo Ralph Lauren outlet store in Russia.”
