Former ICSC chair and Rappaport CEO Gary Rappaport is bringing more tips for success in modern commercial property investing to the Marketplaces Industry, to benefit not just the readers but also the next generation of talent.
On Sept. 19, Forbes Books will publish the third edition of Rappaport’s book, Investing in Retail Properties: A Guide to Structuring Partnerships for Sharing Capital Appreciation and Cash Flow. Rappaport has earmarked 100% of the royalties to the ICSC Foundation, which will use the funds to support scholarships, internships and other programs that prepare future leaders for the retail and real estate industry.
“Gary’s lifelong passion for teaching and educating the next generation of talent has had a huge impact on our industry,” said ICSC Foundation president Lauri Novick. “We are deeply grateful for Gary’s continued generosity and support.”
The book features new case studies drawn from real life and new chapters addressing the latest hurdles investors face in developing, acquiring, leasing and managing marketplaces.
