How to Help as the Los Angeles County Fires Continue

January 10, 2025

Multiple fires across Los Angeles combined with Santa Ana winds this week to create seemingly one giant city in flames. “The fires have claimed at least 24 lives and burned more than 12,000 structures, making them probably the most destructive wildfires in U.S. history. In the Eaton fire alone, more than 39,400 structures are still under threat,” the Los Angeles Times reported as of Sunday night.

The Los Angeles Times also featured ways to help. Here’s how to join the effort:
How to Help Those Affected by Fires Raging Across Los Angeles County

ICSC president and CEO Tom McGee said: “We are deeply saddened by the devastation caused by the ongoing wildfires in California. Our hearts go out to all those who have been affected by this tragedy — the individuals and families who have lost their loved ones, homes or belongings, as well as the countless communities experiencing uncertainty and grief.”

He continued: “For many, the road to recovery will be long and arduous. In the face of adversity, our industry always demonstrates resilience, and we know our members will come together to support one another once again during this time.”
