Goodbye Gander Mountain, hello Gander Outdoors. The sporting-goods brand is to open the first of four planned stores in Texas tomorrow, reports the Star-Telegram.
Marcus Lemonis, host of the CNBC show The Profit and owner of Camping World Holdings, acquired the assets of bankrupt Gander Mountain about a year ago and now has plans to open roughly 60 Gander Outdoors stores this year.
"We’ve received such positive feedback from all the communities across the country in which we opened our new Gander Outdoors locations,” Lemonis told the newspaper. "We are so thankful for the customers shopping with us for their outdoor and sporting needs, and we are excited to continue expanding our outdoor-industry footprint while supporting economic growth in all these communities."
