Shipping giant FedEx is offering small businesses, including ICSC members, a chance to win $30,000 through its Small Business Grant Contest.
A panel will choose 10 grand prize winners, each of which receive $30,000, as well as $1,000 of credit toward printing at FedEx Office locations, a sustainable packaging consultation, a digital sales consultation, 20% off an SEO optimization monthly plan with Higher Visibility, mentor matching through Entrepreneurs’ Organization and more.
Among the 10 grand prize winners, one veteran will get an additional $20,000 from USAA Small Business Insurance to use toward growing their business. And FedEx will post applicants’ videos online so FedEx customers can vote on their favorites from Feb. 27 to March 8; for each day, the qualified business with the most votes will win a $1,000 cash gift card.
The FedEx Small Business Grant Contest is an annual grant program that originated in 2012. The 2023 contest began accepting entries on Jan. 31. The entry deadline is Feb. 21, and FedEx will announce the winners on May 11.
