On Small Business Saturday, the Biden administration outlined three major actions to bolster small businesses, including an injection of $50 million from the American Rescue Plan, a $50 billion loan issuance with large increases for underserved businesses, and a new focus on strengthening partnerships to invest in rural businesses. Emphasizing the vital role small businesses play in communities, President Joe Biden and Vice President Kamala Harris reiterated their commitment to supporting these enterprises, marking the occasion by engaging with small shops in Nantucket, Massachusetts.
