Bass Pro Shops is turning some of its real estate into cash.
The retailer agreed to sell 11 of its 82 Cabela’s stores to a group of investors, including Sansome Pacific Properties, in a $324.3 million deal. Bass Pro will continue to operate the stores and will pay rent, according to SGB.
The portfolio at issue spans some 1.6 million square feet across 227 acres. B&E Brokers arranged the deal.
Springfield, Mo.–based Bass Pro Shops acquired Cabela’s in 2017. The company operates a total of roughly 200 stores across the two banners.
